Practice G-C-G progression, then substitute Db7 for G7 (tritone sub). Navigate G-C-Db7-G using guide tones: B-C (G to C), C-Gb (C to Db7), Gb-F#-G (Db7 to G). Each substitution should connect via half-step motion.
Tip: Tritone subs work because they share the same guide tones as the original chord, just rearranged. The magic is in the bass movement.
