Play Cm7-F7-BbMaj7, then replace F7 with B7 (tritone sub). Navigate Cm7-B7-BbMaj7 using voice leading: keep common tones, move others by half-step. Create lines that make the B7 sound inevitable, not jarring.
Tip: Tritone subs work because they share the same guide tones. The bass moves, but the harmony's DNA stays intact.
