Create three 8-beat melodies in Ab: one that rises (starts low, ends high), one that falls (starts high, ends low), and one that makes a mountain shape (up then down). Each should use different string combinations and sound like a complete musical thought.
Tip: Melodic shape is more important than which notes you choose. People remember the curve of a melody, not individual pitches.
