hardReal-Time Position Roulette
Improvise 8 bars in D pentatonic, but every 2 beats, randomly shift to a position you haven't used yet in the phrase. You must land on chord tones (D, F#, A) when shifting. No planning allowed - react to what you hear.
Tip: Random constraints force creativity. When you can't rely on muscle memory, your ear takes over and real music happens.
