Play the Bb major triad (Bb-D-F) in quarter notes with your picking hand while your fretting hand taps dotted quarter notes on the strings. Start at 60 BPM and maintain both rhythms for 8 bars without deviation.
Tip: True polyrhythmic independence means each hand has its own internal clock. Start glacially slow and let each hand develop its own muscle memory.
