Off-Beat Ab Stabs

Play short Ab power chords only on the 'e' and 'a' of each beat (1-e-&-a-2-e-&-a). Rest on all downbeats. Make each stab exactly one sixteenth note long. Practice with a click at 90 BPM.

Tip: The downbeat silence creates tension. Your off-beat stabs should make people want to move.
