Play any pentatonic phrase that starts and ends on Db (fret 9 on string 6, fret 4 on string 4, or fret 9 on string 1). Every phrase must be exactly 4 notes long. Play 8 different phrases, always returning home to Db.
Tip: The root is your home base. When you always know where home is, you can venture further without getting lost.
