Chromatic Target Approach

Choose any E chord tone (E, G#, or B) as your final target. Approach it using chromatic notes (not in pentatonic) from both directions, then resolve to your target. Example: F#-G-G# or C-B#-B. Create 8 different chromatic approaches to chord tones across the neck.

Tip: Chromatic approaches add professional color. They're 'outside' notes that make the 'inside' target more satisfying.
