Play 16-beat phrases that use positions 1, 2, and 4. Each position change must happen on a shared chord tone between positions. Plan your route: which chord tone connects position 1 to 2? Which connects 2 to 4? Execute 5 different routes through all three positions.
Tip: The neck is connected by chord tones. Master players use these connection points like stepping stones across a river.
