Play in 4/4 time but accent chord tones in groups of 3: accent beats 1, 4, 7, 10 (C-E-G-B pattern). Each accented note must be the actual chord tone. Fill spaces with pentatonic notes. Complete 4 full cycles.
Tip: Polyrhythms disguise the chord tones while highlighting them. This creates sophisticated phrasing that sounds effortless but is actually planned.
