Create a 'question' phrase ascending from A to E (5th to 7th fret on A string). Follow with an 'answer' phrase descending from E back to A. Each phrase should be exactly 4 beats with different rhythms.
Tip: Melodies converse. Your first phrase should feel unresolved, like asking 'where are we going?' Your answer resolves it.
