hardHarmonic Rhythm Challenge
Create an 8-beat phrase where chord tones only appear on the 'and' of each beat (off-beats). All on-beats must be non-chord tones. This forces maximum tension on strong beats with resolution happening in weak positions. Maintain steady eighth notes throughout.
Tip: Placing chord tones on weak beats creates forward motion and syncopation. It's counterintuitive but creates that 'floating' quality heard in advanced playing.
