hardF Mixolydian Octave Displacement Improvisation
Improvise in F Mixolydian, but every phrase must span at least 2 octaves. When you play a note, immediately answer it with the same note in a different octave. No phrase can stay in the same 3-fret area for more than 4 beats. Include at least one slide and one string skip per 8-beat phrase.
Tip: Wide thinking creates wide sounds. Force your brain to hear across the entire neck simultaneously.
