Using positions 1-3, play 12-beat phrases where beats 1, 4, 7, and 10 must land on different A triad tones (A, C#, E). Fill the spaces between with any pentatonic notes, but the landing points are non-negotiable. Practice 5 different phrases.
Tip: Strong players know their destinations before they start. Plan your landings, improvise your flights.
