In F major pentatonic, play phrases that deliberately avoid playing anything on beats 1 and 3. Fill beats 2 and 4 with complex rhythms and note clusters. Practice for 16 measures, making the silence on strong beats feel intentional and musical.
Tip: The notes you don't play are just as important - those silent strong beats create space that draws the listener in.
