🎵Melodic Phrasing
mediumSyncopated Sung Line
Create a melody where every note starts on an off-beat (between the clicks of a metronome) but flows so naturally you could sing it without thinking about the syncopation. Start on the 'and' of 1, use mostly quarter notes, and make it feel like a conversation over a C major groove.
Tip: The best syncopation doesn't sound calculated - it sounds like natural speech rhythm. Let the melody dictate the timing, not the other way around.
