Begin with B and D (minor 3rd). Expand outward: B-A and D-F# (perfect 4ths), then B-G and D-A (minor 6ths), finally B-F and D-B (tritone and minor 7th). Create melodic phrases that spiral outward intervalically while maintaining B as the tonal center. Each expansion cycle takes 16 beats.
Tip: Systematic intervallic expansion creates architectural melodies. You're building sonic spirals, not random note choices.
