Play only the E note (12th fret, 6th string) on every downbeat in 4/4 time. Count '1-e-and-a, 2-e-and-a' out loud while playing. Keep the pulse rock steady for 2 minutes without rushing.
Tip: Your internal clock is more important than your finger speed. Master the downbeat first.
