mediumChromatic Approach Targeting
Target the 3rd of each chord (C# for A, F# for D, G# for E) using chromatic approaches from below. Play the chromatic note on beat 4, resolve to chord tone on beat 1. Practice with metronome at 80 BPM.
Tip: Chromatic approaches create tension that makes the chord tone resolution sound inevitable - it's the secret to jazz-influenced rock playing.
