mediumBb Displacement Chains
Take the phrase Bb-C-D-F from position 1. Play it, then immediately play the same phrase one octave higher in position 4. Then play it one octave lower on the bass strings. Chain 3 octaves together with no pause between displacement jumps.
Tip: Octave displacement breaks the horizontal habit. The same phrase sounds completely different in each register.
