mediumChromatic Escape Sequence
Start with D pentatonic lick in position 1. After completing the lick, use chromatic notes (D#-E) to slide into position 2 and repeat the same lick shape. Continue the pattern through positions 3 and 4.
Tip: Chromatic connectors sound sophisticated because they temporarily leave the scale. They're seasoning, not the main dish.
