hardMetric Modulation Bridge
Start in 4/4 at 120 BPM playing G pentatonic eighth notes. Every 4 measures, halve your note values while keeping the metronome steady: eighths become sixteenths, sixteenths become thirty-seconds. After 3 modulations, reverse the process back to eighths. Never lose the pulse.
Tip: Metric modulation is about maintaining the underlying pulse while your subdivision changes. The beat is your anchor.
