🎯Target Tones
hardChromatic Chord Tone Targeting
Pick a target chord tone. Approach it chromatically from either direction, but the chromatic line must start from a different chord tone. Example: C# to C natural to B# (enharmonic C) to C#. Create 12 different chromatic approaches to all four chord tones.
Tip: Chromatic approach notes add sophistication, but only if they resolve predictably. The ear forgives dissonance when it knows where it's going.
