Set a slow metronome. On beat 1: play F# (root). Beat 2: A# (3rd). Beat 3: C# (5th). Beat 4: E (7th). Now improvise for 4 beats, but must end on the next target tone. Complete 4 full cycles.
Tip: Each chord tone has a different emotional weight. Feel the tension and release as you move through them.
