Target the 3rd of each chord (G-Eb-Ab-D) in the progression EbMaj7-Cm7-AbMaj7-Bb7. Approach each target with the chromatic note below, played as sixteenth-eighth rhythm. Practice in position 6-8, then transpose the approach pattern.
Tip: Chromatic approaches add jazz sophistication. The brief dissonance makes the chord tone arrival more satisfying.
