hardHarmonic Rhythm Anticipation
Over a B-E-F#-B chord progression (4 beats each), anticipate each chord change by arriving on the next chord tone an eighth note early. Your melody must outline the harmony while creating forward momentum through anticipation. Use B harmonic minor scale tones.
Tip: Anticipating chord changes creates melodic urgency. Your lines should pull the harmony forward, not just follow it.
