Play Bb pentatonic in 16th notes, but accent only chord tones (Bb-D-F) on off-beats - beats 2 and 4, and the 'e' and 'a' of each beat. Non-chord tones play softly on strong beats. This creates harmonic syncopation.
Tip: Placing harmony on weak beats creates sophistication. Your rhythm and harmony work together to create interest.
