Play C-Am-F-G progression using only the 3rd and 7th of each chord. Start with E (3rd of C) on the 2nd fret, 4th string. Move to C (3rd of Am) on 1st fret, 2nd string. Continue this guide tone line through F and G, staying on middle strings only.
